Friday, 06 September 2019 is again Casual Day and the theme this year is… Time to Shine with persons with disabilities!
Casual Day is celebrating 25 years of being the country’s biggest fundraising and awareness project for persons with disabilities!
We at the National Institute for the Deaf is once again an active participant and proud supporter of the 2019 Casual Day project.
Please participate in this project and support our organization and persons with disabilities by purchasing your Casual Day sticker!
Request a Change for Change moneybox and fill it with all the small annoying small change that fills your wallet.
Challenge family, friends and colleagues to do the same and see who can fill their box first. When your moneybox is full, take it to NID or pay the amount into the NID bank account.
Your small change can help people with hearing loss to live life to the full.

The NID Schools Project involves schools taking on a fundraising project of their choice in support of NID. Projects may vary from a social day, coin laying, hosting a dance or anything easy that could easily slot into the school’s annual programme.
Schools can also get involved in the NID Change for Change project. The project involves the filling of small Change 4 Change money boxes with all the small and annoying change, which fill our wallets.
This project is however not limited to school participation. Colleges, universities, service organisations or any type of group can also get involved and donate the funds collected from their project to NID as a special gift.
